The Electronic Transactions Act 2001 (Qld) (Section 11 and 12) requires a person/s to provide consent if they agree to receive information via electronic communication. By indicating "Yes" below, the Buyer/s consent to receiving electronic communication to the nominated email address specified within this EOI in relation to contractual matters concerning the Property.

Expression of Interest Conditions

  1. The Seller will own shares in the company that will hold a lease for 120 years for all units in the development (Residential Company). Each share in the Residential Company grants the shareholder the right to take a lease of a corresponding unit within the development.
  2. The Buyer confirms their intention to purchase the shareholding from the Seller that grants the shareholder a lease over the Unit (Property). In consideration of the Seller offering to sell the Property to the Buyer, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees to the conditions of this Expression of Interest.
  3. This Expression of Interest is not binding on either party and the Initial Deposit is refundable until the Buyer enters into a binding sale agreement with the Seller. By submitting this expression of interest (EOI), you acknowledge and agree that in the event contracts are issued and you choose to withdraw from the EOI process, a non-refundable administration fee of $5,000 will be applicable. This fee is intended to cover administration costs associated with the processing and handling of your EOI.

Anti-Money Laundering
As of 1 July 2026, you will be asked to provide ID or company documentation once you enter into an Expression of Interest (EOI). These checks are part of new anti-money laundering (AML) legal obligations which have come into effect. Once we are satisfied with your ID, we will hold same on file and also provide copies of same to our external lawyers, Hickey Lawyers, for their own identification purposes.

Please also be aware there has been a recent increase of cyber fraud. We have reports that scammers are attempting to impersonate law firms and hijack emails with bank account details so they can substitute banking details with their own account number. This EOI stipulates your holding deposit be transferred to our external lawyers Hickey Lawyers Trust Account. Your security is important to us. If you receive an unexpected communication either from Gordon Corp or someone else, requesting you to transfer or deposit money, we suggest you contact that person making the request by telephone (not email) to confirm the authenticity of the request. We will not accept responsibility if you transfer money into an incorrect account.
